A Citizen diver lets you go deeper and safer into the water. Handy features help you do that safely. For example, many of our Promasters are equipped with decompression alarms, shock detection and a depth gauge. Functions that will certainly come in handy for the true sport diver. In addition, the hands and indexes of many Citizen divers are highly luminous in the dark. So they are also useful in the pitch dark of the deep sea!
To make sure that a Citizen diver is really waterproof to a certain depth, a number of models have ISO certification. Extensive tests on water pressure, resistance to impact and endurance testing at high water pressure were carried out. This makes an ISO 6425-certified Citizen timepiece guaranteed to be waterproof up to 200 metres, making it definitely suitable for the more serious diver.

Nothing is more annoying than a watch whose battery is dead and needs to be replaced. The case needs to be opened and the watch extensively checked for water resistance. With a Citizen Eco-Drive watch, this is not necessary: these wristwatches are equipped with a state-of-the-art Citizen Eco-Drive movement: a light-sensitive cell that charges a battery so that the watch always has energy. In addition, Citizen also has a number of mechanical movements (automatic watches) in its range. These are charged by your wrist movement.
